  • Mushrooms (12)
  • Olive oil
  • Diced Serrano ham (little cubes)
  • Ground pepper

How to Make the Mushrooms in Sauce with Serrano Ham:

  1. Remove the mushroom stems and widen the resulting hole a little (it is the gap to be filled later) with a knife. Be careful with this step, because the mushrooms can break.

Before and after making the hole a little wider

  2. Wash the mushrooms very well with water.
  3. Prepare the sauce: put three fingers of olive oil, ground pepper, garlic powder and parsley in a glass. Mix well.
  4. Put a frying pan on high heat with the mushrooms placed in such a way that the hole that will be filled later is facing down; in contact with the surface of the frying pan.
  5. Cook the mushrooms in this position until the sides start to brown (5-6 minutes).
  6. Turn off the heat and turn the mushrooms over to fill them.
  7. First add a pinch of salt to each mushroom, then the diced Serrano ham and a good spoonful of the sauce we have prepared.
  8. Put the frying pan on high heat again, not as high as before, and wait for the part of the mushrooms that had not touched the pan before to brown.
  9. Remove the mushrooms from the fire, serve and enjoy!
