Today we are going to make a recipe with one of the most popular and frequently used ingredients in the kitchen: mushrooms. The stuffed mushrooms recipe is easy and offers many possibilities, as any kind of ingredients can be included in the mixture. This preparation can be used both as a main dish and as a snack. Shall we start?
How to Make It:
- The first thing you have to do is to carefully remove the stems from the mushrooms and clean them with the help of a damp cloth.
- Chop the peppers, onion and garlic as thinly as possible. In a frying pan, include a good dash of oil and let it fry for about 10 minutes.
- When the onion is almost transparent, add the stems of the mushrooms (previously very chopped). Mix all the ingredients and then add the peeled and chopped tomato.
- Let the food mix well and then add the minced meat with salt, pepper, egg and a bit of nutmeg.
- When the meat juice has been consumed, remove from the heat. Put the mixture in the mushrooms on a baking tray. When they are all stuffed, preheat the oven to 200ºC and leave them for about 10 minutes with only the bottom part warm.
- After this time, open the oven, pour the selected cheese over the mushrooms (Ibores cheese is a good option) and grill for 5 minutes in the hot oven, both on top and underneath.
Optional: If you want, you can sprinkle a little paprika… It will give it a unique touch.
