The yellow town

On the right bank of the mouth of the Orio River is a small town of fishermen houses where yellow can be found everyone. You can also find the Orio’s yellow trawler, the most famous one in Cantábrico. Horia also means yellow is Basque language. Other than plenty of yellow, Orio’s other attractions includes its beach and its proximity to Pagoeta National Park and San Sebastián.

It has an interesting old town, excellent cuisine, and a real village atmosphere. Orio also has the advantage of being an excellent base for exploring nearby locations such as Pagoeta National Park and neighbouring, attractive cities such as San SebastiánZarauz and Guetaria. Because it is an emerging tourist destination, most of the places to sleep are apartments and places to eat are taverns.
