9 kilometers from the “Arenas of San Pedro,” and south of the “Sierra de Gredos,” we find this interesting grotto that was discovered by chance in 1963. After a lot of work on the caves, the enclosure opened to the public in 1964. We can actually visit it any day of the year. The Great Hall stands out in this attraction, where you can see the impressive geological formations that have been formed for thousands of years. A little-known grotto but, no doubt, impressive.
Very close to the border with France, in the western Pyrenees, we find these well-known caves that have become famous for stories of witches and covens who allegedly developed in them long ago. The tours of these caves are impressive despite the absence of stalactites, stalagmites or cave paintings, since the mysterious aura that surrounds them are an important attraction for all visitors.
This beautiful town boasts one of the most topographical development caves in Andalusia. The tourist area covers the lower galleries and represents a quarter of the total path of the cave, where you can admire the magnitude and beauty of its stalactites and stalagmites.
