Fermoselle is the last village of Castile and León and it’s located on a rock over the confluence of the rivers Duero and Tormes, between Salamanca and Portugal.
The main attractions of Fermoselle are the so-called “arribes”, the rocky walls that surround the village and the river. In Fermoselle we can find beautiful overlooks to enjoy the village views.

One of our favourite places to stay in Fermoselle is the Posada Doña Urraca, a traditional architecture building with 19 rooms. Every room has a detailed decoration with attention to even the smallest detail. The restaurant has a great selection of wines. There’s no big difference between the suites and the double rooms, so you can save your money.
The rural house Rincón de Tarabilla is another accommodation located in the center of Fermoselle. It has rustic decorated rooms with brick walls and iron beds. They serve homemade jams and local olive oil at breakfast.
If you’re looking for a place to stay outside of Fermoselle to get to know the local area, we recommend you the Casa rural La Venta de los Arribes, in Formariz, 6.5 km from the village. There are different kinds of rooms and all of them are quite spacious, up to 5 people. There is a pool and the breakfast is plentiful.
