Sleep in Almazán

Almazán was a frontier fortified town, the court of many princes and pretenders to the throne, until the union of the Catholic Monarchs. Its medieval charm is complementary with its urban sculptures, its gardens, its promenades and the many cultural events. The must-sees in Almazán are the Ermita de Jesús Nazareno and the Puerta de Herreros.

Here you will find the best places to stay in Almazán.

One of our favourite places to stay in Almazán is the Hotel Rural la Estación del Alma, a 4 stars hotel. It’s not located in the center, but very close. The rooms are decorated with different themes, every room has the name of a historical figure of Almazán, such as the general Diego Lainez or the poet Gerardo Diego.

El Rincón del Nazareno is a central hotel with chic rooms and parquet floors. It’s quite modern, as it was redecorated a few years ago. The Wi-Fi network is not great, but it’s not important when you’re having a drink at the hotel’s bar.

The Tirso de Molina is more modest than the others, but people like it so much because it’s very central. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are old.

If you are interested in knowing the surroundings of the village, we recommend you the rural house Ca’l Gonzalo, located in Fuentelcarro, a few minutes by car from Almazán. The house is modest, but perfect if you want to get away from your everyday life, due to its natural location.
