Although they are smaller than normal chickens, they have more nutritional properties. The rooster weighs around 3 kilos and has meat that tastes similar to that of a pheasant. These products are so important that every first weekend of August the town’s inhabitants celebrate the Fiesta de Gallo Piñeiro y Muestro Caballar, an exaltation to food in general as well as this product in particular.

They have the option of ordering gluten-free bread and beer and, if you would prefer to eat dessert, opt for their delicious homemade yogurt. You can also try O Km 19, a marvelous terrace to enjoy a glass of wine.
