The name of Jabugo is universally associated with its flagship product: the Iberian ham with D.O. that has managed to place this small Huelva municipality on the world gastronomic map. Jabugo is a black leg ham made from Iberian pigs raised in semi-freedom in the extensive dehesas of the Sierra de Aracena. These animals are fed mainly with acorns, a fact that contributes to achieve the character and exclusive flavor of the products derived from their meat.
