In the foothills of the Pyrenees, this is a nice village in the frontier that makes the river Ter an incredibly beautiful place with a famous bridge and hanged houses. If you decide to eat in Camprodón, the embutidos (sausage) are a typical option. Delicious!

Camprodón has a traditional gastronomy where ranching and agriculture havea crucial importance. The potato is one of the most famous products in town. The production of this ingredient in the valley has existed since the 18th Century, and the weather and orograhpy from the Pyrenees give it its special flavor. During the month of September, the Temporada Gastronómica de la Patata takes place.

The most popular meats here are the calf, the lamb and the horse, a product that also has its own gastronomic journeys during May. With the pork meat different embutidos are prepared, such as the longanizas, the chorizos and bulls, which have a great reputation in the whole region of Ripollés. To finish, Campodrón also produces delicious cookies that are known in the entire country.

The bar Neret has great local and quality products that are used to prepare the portions and tapas. The stuffed eggplant is delicious.
