Madrid is a city for romance, for lovers walking holding hands… But also for single people who do appreciate nature’s beauty. In any case, we know you are in love with this marvellous city, and this is why today we bring you five romantic spots in Madrid:
Wanna go to Egypt but you lack the money or time? Well, Debod Temple makes it easy for you… Visit this gorgeous two thousand year temple. Do not miss the sunset in this park –mind-blowing!
El Capricho Park
This park, located in Alameda of Osuna (in the northeast of Madrid), brings you a huge botanical, sculptural, and artistic richness. It is not touristy or crowded because it is not widely known by locals. Walk around the different garden types, enjoying the lakes and beautiful spots this park offers you. Certainly, the perfect plan for the weekend (in fact, it only opens on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays).
Next to the Royal Palace, these glorious gardens will not let you down. Loose yourself with your loved one through its labyrinths while you can also enjoy an amazing view of the palace. It is also a unique place to admire the sunset.
Círculo of Bellas Artes’ Rooftop
Quite close to Plaza del Sol, you can find this beautiful spot that will make you fall in love even more with Madrid. This rooftop, recently refurbished, is considered one of the most magical viewpoints of the city. The price to have access to this view only costs 4 euros (3 euros for Youth Card holders). But you can also enjoy the art exhibitions of the center for only 5 euros (4 euros for Youth Card holders), or even have a drink or have dinner while enjoying this awesome place.
Palace of Prince of Anglona Gardens
Hidden in La Latina Quarter, we can find this garden owned by nobles in the past. It was designed in the 18th century. This idyllic place is also widely unknown by Madrilenians –so peace and quiet is more than warranted. It is the perfect spot to declare your love to your couple… or to nature.
We hope you can surprise your loved one as well as we look forward to hearing from your experience!
