Sleep in Vinuesa

Vinuesa is located under the Sierra de Urbión and the Sierra de la Cebollera, very next to the Punto de Nieve Santa Inés and the Cuerda del Pozo reservoir. This village was a grazing area of great flocks of sheep and a royal hunting reserve of the Kings of Castile. During your visit, you’ll enjoy walking around the historical center, and you can also take the car and visit la Laguna Negra or the Picos de Urbión.

If you plan to stay in Vinuesa, here are our suggestions.

The Hotel Rural Santa Inés is a rural hotel managed by a family in the open countryside near Vinuesa. It has 20 individually designed  rooms with daily cleaning service. Every morning they serve a buffet breakfast and there is a picnic area where you can cook like at home, checking the availability before and with a separate payment.

The Hostal Urbión is a small accommodation, a very modest hostel with 11 double rooms divided into two floors. The restaurant serves excellent seasonal mushrooms.

The Hostal Revinuesa is another good option to stay in Vinuesa. The rooms are simple, but the location is highly accessible due to its proximity to the Laguna Negra and the Playa Pita reservoir. The rooms are quite comfortable and the breakfast is good, even if they don’t have freshly squeezed orange juice.

If you’re looking for a place to stay outside of Vinuesa, to get to know the area, we recommend you the rural house Lagunas de Urbión. It’s a typical stone building, located in Molinos de Duero, with bright rooms. There is a patio with outdoor furniture and a barbecue area, ideal to spend the afternoon.
