La Casa Chacinera is a rural house located in the higher part of the village and it’s a very good place to stay in Candelario. It is built over a 17th century stone building with rustic decoration. There is an open kitchen in every floor, so you will have complete independence to cook your food. The house is close to hiking trails.

We like the Posada Turismo Rural Artesa for its simplicity. Its nine rooms are very welcoming and well illuminated, due to the picture windows and the balconies, with picturesque views of the village. The restaurant serves typical Castilian food and the breakfast is very good and plentiful.

There’s another place in Candelario that you will love, the Casa de la Sal. It’s a 18th century building with a beautiful outdoor patio, where you can have a drink. Its restaurant serves creative Castilian food.

If you are looking for an accommodation in the surroundings, you will find the rural house ALTAIR Turismo Rural in the next village of Béjar. It’s a place meant for tourists and families, located in an amazing area. The rooms have fantastic views on the Covatilla and the hall has a fireplace that is very useful during the winter. It’s a workplace for persons with disabilities.
