San Isidro is a ski resort from the seventies. It is located in the border with Asturias and it has four different areas: Cebolledo, Salencias, Riopinos and Requejinos. It has 27 kilometres of ski area divided in 31 ski slopes ordered from green to black. They are from 1500 m to 2100 m. The ski resort has services as: ski school, sports equipment rental, children’s center, circuits of cross-country skiing and snowpark.

During summer, this area is frequented by hiking, climbing, horse-riding or paragliding lovers. Now, we give you a list with our suggestions of the best places to sleep in San Isidro and its surroundings if you are planning to stay here.

To sleep on the foot of the slopes, we recommend you the Hotel Restaurante La Braña, it is a place that has good simple rooms. It has all you can eat breakfast and ordinary meals. If there is snows on the lowest slopes, you can reach skiing to the hotel.

There is another accommondation near the slopes, the Hostal Pico Agujas, in the area of Salencias. It is a simple place but with all you need to have a proper rest during the ski season. It is located so close to the slopes, you will not need using car because everything is close. Lunches and dinners are  abundant in the hostel restaurant.

If you want to stay in San Isidro surroundings, the closest accommodation to the ski resort but outside it, is La Mina. It is located in Isoba, 4 kilometres away of the ski resort in San Isidro. There is nothing special in this place. However, the food has really good opinions among the guests. The food is abundant, with good quality and great taste. When there is no snow, around this hotel is usual to find people biking.
